Green River, Utah  is perfectly situated near great scenery, world-class rafting, dinosaur fossils, Native American rock art panels and much more. However, Green River is also an affordable base camp located adjacent to some of the most awe-inspiring country anywhere!  The Green River area and surrounding Gunnison valley has long been used as a crossing point of the Green River.
