2. How much does it cost to sell tickets with Ticket Cake? Open or Close
Selling tickets with Ticket Cake is free! There are no set up fees, no contracts, and no monthly fees.

3. Is there a printed ticket I need to pick up?Open or Close
Gone are the days of waiting for your ticket to come them the mail or picking it up in advance of the event!
After purchasing tickets for an event on Ticket Cake, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from us. You are not required to bring a printed copy of the order confirmation you received in your email after buying with Ticket Cake. The only thing required for entry is a photo ID matching the check-in name on your order. Simply check in to the event when you arrive!
4. What's with the name "Ticket Cake?"Open or Close
Remember when you were younger and your birthday cake was a really big deal? We do. So when the Ticket Cake co-founders launched the company in January 2011, we thought we'd bring some fun into the ticketing industry.
Including the word "cake" into the company name... Check! Throwing some vibrant pink and blue colors on the site... Check! Handing out 1,500 gourmet cupcakes to ticket buyers the week we launched... 5. How do I get into the event once I arrive? Open or Close
Entry management is really easy with Ticket Cake. Most event organizers check ticket buyers in from within their Ticket Cake account using a laptop or desktop computer as they arrive to the event. Some event organizers choose to use paper check-in lists they print from their Ticket Cake account.
Either way, simply arrive at the venue the day of the event and check in as you enter. The only thing required for entry is a photo ID matching the check-in name on your order.
Remember, the photo ID for the check-in name acts as the one and only way to enter for your entire party, which means everyone must arrive together. If your group is arriving at the event at different times, we suggest placing multiple ticket orders on Ticket Cake to identify multiple check-in names.
You are not required to bring a printed copy of the order confirmation you received in your email after buying with Ticket Cake.

6. How do I transfer my tickets to someone else?Open or Close
Events on Ticket Cake do not allow for ticket transfers. If there is a pressing need to transfer an order to another individual, Ticket Cake requires a 48 hour notification. You can contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate the transfer.
Remember, a photo ID for the check-in name acts as the one and only way to enter for your entire party, which means everyone must arrive together! If there is a concern about putting multiple tickets into a single person's name for when you check in to the event, we recommend placing multiple orders on Ticket Cake to identify multiple check-in names.
7. How are ticket prices determined?Open or Close
Every ticket sold on TicketCake.com is actually owned by the event organizers, not by our company. Ticket Cake sells event tickets on behalf of event organizers, including artists, venues, and promoters.
Please note ticket prices are subject to change for high-demand, anticipated sell-out events, so buying your tickets in advance oftentimes will save you some cash!
Here is the anatomy of your ticket purchase:
Face Ticket Price: - The face ticket price is set by event organizers.
Service Fee: - Ticket Cake charges a convenience fee for each ticket sold to events. Charitable and non-profit events typically have a smaller service fee.
Facility Fee: - Facility charges are not for or from Ticket Cake; we simply collect them for venues. Each venue decides whether to assess this charge on transactions, sets the price, and receives 100% of the money collected from it.
8. My credit card is being declined. What can I do?Open or Close
If there is an error while processing your credit card, you should receive an error message detailing why your ticket purchase did not go through. If you did not receive an order confirmation email from Ticket Cake, try making the requested changes and processing your payment again.

9. I purchased a ticket and can no longer attend. What now?Open or Close
While some artists, venues, and promoters allow Ticket Cake to issue refunds if something comes up and you can't make it, a policy of "no refunds" is standard for most. If an issue comes up, know that our team at Ticket Cake will do everything we can to help you! Just contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
10. If my event is cancelled can I get a refund? Open or Close
When an artist, venue, or promoter cancels or postpones an event, we can understand the frustration. We love going to events too! The team at Ticket Cake works hard to make refunds as painless as possible.
If you purchased tickets to an event that has been cancelled, you won't need to do a thing. Ticket Cake informs ticket buyers of the cancellation via email and we'll automatically refund the amount you paid for your tickets on the same payment method used online for purchase. Remember, refunds can take a few business days after the refund is issued to appear in your bank account.
If your event is being rescheduled, we'll contact ticket buyers via email with the new date and time as soon as the information becomes available. Can't make the new date or time? The decision to issue refunds for rescheduled events is up to the individual artist, venue, or promoter, but we'll do everything we can to help!
